About Oak Park

Oak Park Community Church of God is a fellowship of Christians who believe that God's Church is the spiritual body of Christ; and is made up of all Christian People.

We are a non-denominational church and voluntarily associate with a group of non-denominational churches known as The Church of God (Anderson, Indiana).

We believe the church is not an organization you join but a fellowship of persons who have experienced a spiritual rebirth through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ - becoming a member of the Family of God. All Christians who make this congregation their church home by participation in the life and ministry of the congregation are regarded as members.

We Believe...

1. •In the Bible as God's Word for today.
   

2. •In the Deity and Lordship of Jesus Christ.
   

3. •In eternal life by grace through faith.
   

4. •In a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
   

5. •In the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit for each individual Christian.
   

6. •In the Trinity: God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
   

7. •In the Church as the visible community of God's people in worship and fellowship together.
   

8. •In the Church as the Family of God, which includes all Christians everywhere.
   

9. •In the return of Jesus Christ.
